We're growing!

Great ideas attract great people.

So we're especially pleased to announce that Jim Evans, the former General Manager for Northern Europe of online brand protection firm NetNames, has joined Certilogo as our new Chief Business Officer, based in Stockholm.

Jim will oversee all aspects of top-line revenue generation at Certilogo as we continue our expansion from our native Italy into Europe and North America.

At NetNames Jim managed commercial sales in eight country markets and a wide range of industries ranging from luxury goods to automotive to FMCG.

Prior to NetNames he was Global Head of Operations for Melbourne IT Digital Brand Services and a manager of international sales for Electrolux, where he lead a staff of more than 200 in five country offices.

So why Certilogo?

Jim says it's because he's convinced that giving consumers a simple and effective tool to “crowdsource” authentic products is the smartest way to defend innovative brands and the consumers who value them.

“We’re helping millions of people to solve a problem that used to be unsolvable, and we’re doing it in a way that helps everyone in the value chain, from brands to legitimate retailers to consumers. I think of it as peace of mind from end to end.”
Jim is the third of three additions to the Certilogo sales team in 2016.

Elisabetta Sabaini recently joined us as Regional Director of Sales for Southern Europe, based in our Milan headquarters. An expert in logistics and supply chain management, she formerly consulted to Italian SMEs for Nutcracker and Project Group.

Brad Evans (no relation to Jim) is the new Regional Director for Sales for North America and Australia, and will be based in San Francisco. Brad formerly founded and served as Managing Director of the respected brand protection consultancy Anti-Counterfeiting Strategy Group, Ltd.

He's also a doctoral candidate at the University of Auckland.

Expanding our sales force is a key step toward fulfilling the ambitious mission our CEO, Michele Casucci, embraced when he founded Certilogo in 2006:

eradicating the global scourge of counterfeits by empowering everyone, everywhere to prove a product is authentic.

Asked how he felt about expanding the team to include Jim, Elisabetta, and Brad, Michele said called it "an exciting moment" for Certilogo.
"We’ve proven our business model is viable, and we’ve gotten overwhelming confirmation that it’s attractive to brands and consumers everywhere in the world. You can feel that excitement every day in our sales team: Certilogo is an idea worth spreading.”
